MOTHERS’ UNION Plans are underway for the 100th birthday of St. Mary’s Mother Union, as well as the 150th birthday of Mothers’ Union as a whole. More recently the format has changed so they take the form of a service, the key part of which is the official admittance of churchwardens as office holder of the diocesan bishop. SUNDAY LUNCH -THE BOAR’S HEAD, SUDBURY– 12.00 noon for 12.30 pm Conversations have been going on about reinstating the Sunday Lunch and it has been decided to arrange a lunch after the Benefice Services when there is a fifth Sunday, which starts at 10.00 am and will be convenient for all three churches.
