Vestry & APCM Meeting Outcome

The Vestry and APCM meetings took place on the evening of Monday, April 28th, and it was a lovely chance to come together as a community.

At the Vestry meeting, we took a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to Margaret Pyle and Jackie Benstead for all their wonderful efforts over the past year. Everyone was delighted to unanimously confirm them as Church Wardens for 2025/2026—they’re such a blessing to us! Then, at the APCM meeting that followed, we reviewed the report together, with several contributors sharing friendly summaries with everyone present. The report and finances were happily approved by all.

We were thrilled to unanimously re-elect Jane Taylor and Jane Deacey to the PCC for 2025/2028—thank you both for continuing to serve! A big, warm welcome was also extended to Shirley Newton, who was unanimously approved to step in and join Phil Norris as a Deanery Synod representative. We’re so glad to have you with us, Shirley!
